Charles Pearlmutter, PharmD, RPh

Director of Pharmacy

Charles has been a pharmacist for  almost 20 years. He first worked in an old independent pharmacy in Brooklyn, NY in the early 90’s as a stock and delivery assistant and fell in love with the personalized services provided. After careers in food services and Wall Street I decided to go back to school to become a pharmacist in 2000. As a student in a brand new school I completed an experimental accelerated graduate program. There I was the founder and first president of our school’s student chapter of the National Community Pharmacist’s Association. During my pharmacist career I have worked for large chain retail pharmacies as well as having managed an independent compounding pharmacy, specialty pharmacy and held clinical positions with insurance and mail order pharmacies. Having been involved in a few start-ups, I enjoy the challenges and opportunities presented in bringing pharmacy services to the Charak Center through CCHW Pharmacy.

In my off time I enjoy spending time with my four children and two cats. I act as the events coordinator of my synagogue and I actively fundraise for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, an organization which has personal meaning to me. I also love to play guitar and strategy board games as well as reading.

I am very excited about growing our pharmacy program and helping our patients in any way that we can.

Rada Duplik, PharmD

MTM Pharmacist

Rada was born in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, one of the republics of the former Soviet Union, located on the shores of the Caspian Sea. Bakunians are very festive, vibrant and tolerant people. Unfortunately, thirty years ago Azerbaijani-Armenian war erupted over the disputed territory of Nagorny Karabakh. This conflict forced Rada's family to seek refuge in the United States. Rada came to Cleveland thirty years ago, and started learning English and adapting to the American ways of living. After graduating Mayfield High School, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toledo. While in school, she met her husband, who is from the Russian-speaking community of Moldova. They have two wonderful daughters who speak, read and write Russian language and are currently studying to be nurses. Rada enjoys traveling, watching movies, eating out, and partying at local Russian restaurants where they serve plenty of food and have live music.
