Pharmacist, Pharm D
Charles has been a pharmacist for 15 years. He first worked in an old independent pharmacy in Brooklyn, NY in the early 90’s as a stock and delivery assistant and fell in love with the personalized services provided. After careers in food services and Wall Street I decided to go back to school to become a pharmacist in 2000. As a student in a brand new school I completed an experimental accelerated graduate program. There I was the founder and first president of our school’s student chapter of the National Community Pharmacist’s Association. During my pharmacist career I have worked for large chain retail pharmacies as well as having managed an independent compounding pharmacy, specialty pharmacy and held clinical positions with insurance and mail order pharmacies. Having been involved in a few start-ups, I enjoy the challenges and opportunities presented in bringing pharmacy services to the Charak Center through CCHW Pharmacy.
In my off time I enjoy spending time with my four children and two cats. I act as the events coordinator of my synagogue and I actively fundraise for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, an organization which has personal meaning to me. I also love to play guitar and strategy board games as well as reading.
I am very excited about growing our pharmacy program and helping our patients in any way that we can.
